Who we are?

A subsidiary of Kindwin Technology, Ltd.*, we have been the leading OEM in the LED industry since 1990. We manufacture LED lamps for cellular phones, LED components, modules and clusters for mini to mega billboard size display systems for indoor and outdoor applications. We also manufacture and integrate Airport Display System and Sport Scoring and Timing System, LED traffic signal lights, Gas Station Price Display systems and other LED product applications. BIG BOARD LED™ is our own brand name for the LED display systems. We have state of the art automated manufacturing facilities in China and offices in San Francisco and Hong Kong and dealer representatives in different countries.

Some Basics:

Our BIG BOARD LED™ display system consists of Broadcasting Quality Series, Professional Video Series, Multimedia Video Series and SMS product series have different lamp pitch sizes for different resolutions and functions that will fit most customers’ budget and applications for outdoor, semi-outdoor or indoor use. They are all networkable and remote controllable. We even make display systems that display High-Definition TV signal. We custom build the BIG BOARD LED™ Display System to customers’ specifications or upon our recommendation. Its price is based upon many variables, such as: size of screen, pixel and pitch size, color, resolution, viewing angle, brightness, text and graphic (non-moving graphic), text and graphic animation (moving graphic), text and graphic and animation (like cartoon) or full video, mono color, dual colors, RGY colors, 66536 colors mix, 16.7 million true colors, 10, 12 or 16 bit colors, flat or curve board, etc. The height of the display board from the ground and the viewing distance might increase or decrease your technical specification requirement; hence, your price also. Our standard models come with heavy-duty aluminum extrusion frame for fast installation.

Our mobile units are designed for fast installation, uninstallation and portable.

We designed, developed and manufacture the World's first and only portable   DC powered full color outdoor and indoor LED video banner - the iBoard™.

How do we build the BIG BOARD LED™ Display System?

Our BIG BOARD LED™ display panel can be made a few inches thick. A PC controls the Board. We use only the LED lamps made of the latest technology and from the same batch and ranking to ensure maximum uniformity in color and brightness across the screen. Our board is built in a modular system.  Each LED lamp in our outdoor models is wrapped with silicone to withstand all elements in any adverse environment and waterproof. And if water ever gets in, it will drain away through drain holes. The LED lamps of different colors are then strategically aligned in certain designed pattern and installed in a pixel to achieve maximum performance with least lamps required. A big cost saving factor.  Each pixel has a sunvisor made of impact resistant polycarbonate plastic to protect the lamps and to eliminate undesired sun glare. And the pixels make up a module of about a square foot in size. We then group every 4 or more modules together and mount them into a square box made of high gauge galvanized sheet metal. Each metal box is individually powered and fan-cooled. The sheet metal boxes are then mounted on our heavy-duty aluminum extrusion frame or a steel frame (depends on the board’s size), which make up the BIG BOARD LED™ Display System to the size specified.

We use either a fixed metal case module or a stand-alone module for our bigger display boards. The fixed metal case modules are made of galvanized iron sheet metal and they require a supporting structure. You may mount it on a post, side of a building, roof, or any supporting structure of your choice and design. Our stand-alone mobile modules are made of aluminum instead of iron sheet metal and they can be assembled or disassembled in 1 or 2 hours. The module boxes conveniently interlock with each other. 

Each BIG BOARD LED™ Display System is pre-integrated and thoroughly tested before it is shipped out. The bigger sizes are shipped disassembled and our engineers will integrate the system and fire up the Board at your desired site. The smaller ones are ready to use out of the box.

What is behind our BIG BOARD LED™ Display System?

We use the latest LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signaling) technology to suppress or eliminate any unwanted radio frequency interference for more superior video quality. Our R & D department even went further to develop our own MIFT technology (Module Independent Fine Tune) to better enhance and maintain the uniformity of the vibrant color across the screen. You will see much less cable connections behind our screen than other makes because we do not compromise our quality. We put more micro circuitry in the modules for more superior video quality and easier and friendlier maintenance. A light sensor automatically dims the screen at dusk. All our LED modules have over heat circuitry protection. Also each LED driver IC has watchdog function for easy maintenance.

Life span:

LED lamps typically have a life span of 100,000 continuous working hours, depends upon current output and other environmental conditions.

Brightness and operating temperature:

We have outdoor, semi-outdoor and indoor models for different brightness requirement. Our BIG BOARD LED™ Display System has automatic 8 levels brightness control or manual 256 levels control. Of course, our outdoor models are sunlight readable and have been used in extreme hot, humid and cold climates like Africa, Brazil, Caribbean, Thailand and Korea, without failure. We use heavy-duty industrial PC version for the controller that has an operating temperature of 0 to 60 C and our LED modules and drivers –25 to 60 C. In extreme temperature environment, an air-conditioned room or container to house the controller may be required.

Speed:

Our BIG BOARD LED™ Display System has a double scan function and runs up to 500 frames per second to keep a perfect stable picture across the screen. We also have slower speed system to fit customer’s need and budget.

Maintenance:

Our BIG BOARD LED™ uses 110 V or 220 V for power and has low power consumption. Our system is built user-friendly and maintenance-friendly. If the Board should ever need any repair, one can easily unscrew the damaged or malfunctioned module and replace it with a spare one in about 20 minutes. Very minimum down time. Then you can ship the problem module to our factory for repair or replacement. We give 1 year Limited Warranty on our BIG BOARD LED™ Display System. For a bigger board order, we even provide free maintenance training for our customers at our factory.
